BLACK STONE

FACE BOOK

Interesting conversation with a Conservative Muslim. He doesn't think Muslims should participate in Halloween activities because 'it has pagan roots'. Have a look at this picture of hajj rituals in Makkah. Does this guy think Traditional Islam has no pagan roots?
Pagan is simply human culture. No need to look down upon it

Aida Shimi Why do you need a Stone to cleanse your sins? I cleanse my own Sins during my own prayers and Dzikir. And why circumambulation around our first Baits ( Mesjid) like pagan ritual? ISLAM forbids any kind of shrines, idolising objects. SYIRIK! Ask HIM only during your own prayer

The fastest growing religion in the world.
When you are born into the religion or converting to it - renouncing the faith or apostasy is the death penalty. Or, a criminal offence in some countries.

Not necessarily if you are a muslim in a western or secular countries. The Hadith indicates it does not warrant execution unless until one then work against the interests of the islamic state....

Numerous accounts of Muhammad and his companions putting people to death for leaving Islam. The Prophet himself saying: “‘Whosoever changes his religion, kill him,” a statement that is often used to support the death penalty for Muslims who leave Islam.

Such, does Islam allows freedom of religion? The Qur'an does ask the prophet, alaihissalam, and his followers TO NOT FORCE people to believe in Islam. (88:22) It also says that God DOESN'T FORCE religious guidance into the hearts of humans. (2:256)

No new prophet was to come for the later generations. And therefore the law that states that apostates should be killed wasn't applicable to any other times.
